Switching to the Store Brand to Save Money-Yes? No?

Saving money is SUPER important to me. We're at a place right now where every dollar, heck every PENNY counts! So I've been switching up what I buy at the store. I tend to not buy as many name brand items as I used too, instead I stick with store brand. 

I've noticed that for some things there is NO difference at all and for others well I can taste and or feel the difference! I've mainly noticed it with cereal. I guess I'm a cereal snob. 

Recently I got a chance to try the Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Oil Free Acne Wash for review. I was excited to check it out since I've been making the store brand switch lately anyway. I had never tried the Walgreens Brand Oil Free Acne Wash before but I had tried the product it said to compare itself too. The looks were absolutely similar and when I used it to wash my face there was nothing that I could tell that was different there either. I was excited because it's just another store brand product that I can feel confidant using.
