The Help Movie Review

When I found out I was going to BlogHer11 one of the things I was most excited about was getting to see The Help movie. I read the book earlier this year and I devoured it, it was SO good. 

As excited as I was, I was nervous as well. Very rarely do I read a book, love it and then see the movie and love that as well. But with The Help that was the case. I loved the movie and I loved the book! 


They did such a great job of staying true to the book. Fantastic really! I LOVED Hilly's character, she was exactly as I had expected her to be! They touched on all the important parts of the books and having it narrated a little really helped for the people who haven't read the book and didn't know all of the background! 

Also I just wanted to note that I was pleasantly surprised with Emma Stone playing Skeeter, I was a little apprehensive because  when I pictured Skeeter Emma Stone was no where in my mind but I thought she did a fantastic job, she was believable and hilarious!

There were so many times that I laughed and cried. It had all the elements that I'm looking for in a movie and not only would I watch it again but I plan on adding it to my collection!
