The last week has been a little tough on me. Not sure if you guys realized or not but I had finally gotten a job working at a restaurant. I was having an awesome time working, meeting new people, getting out of the house etc. I finally felt like I had a life outside of B and his friends. Last Monday we found out some pretty bad news, the restaurant had been sold and our last day is to be in early-mid July. Not only did I need this job really badly, so this puts me in a terrible position but I wanted this job. I liked this job. I liked the people at this job.
So now I'm trying to pick myself up again and trying to remember a couple things so I was searching quotes trying to keep things in perspective and remind me that better days will come. Here are some of my favorites:
"Inside of a ring or out, ain't nothing wrong with going down. It's staying down that's wrong."--Unknown
Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing that we see too late the one that is open."--Alexander Graham Bell
"The real measure of your wealth is how much you'd be worth if you lost all your money." --Unknown
"It is not the strongest
of the species that survive,
nor the most intelligent,
but the one most responsive to change."
--Darwin
"Life is like riding a bicycle, in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving."--Albert Einstein
"The Difference between those who succeed and those who fail isn't what they have--it's what they choose to see and do with their resources and their expertise of life"--Anthony Robbins
People are not lazy. They simply have goals that do not inspire them. Remember to follow your heart, What inspires you?--Unknown
The more difficulties one has to encounter, within and without, the more significant and the higher in inspiration his life will be.--Horace Bushnell
